Chalet 14 at Rathmullan Beach
In County Donegal the sleepy little village of Rathmullan lies on the banks of the beautiful Lough Swilly. The grounds of the idyllic 4 star Rathmullan House Hotel is where this 3 bedroom chalet is situated. It’s a short 2 min walk to Rathmullan’s 3km long sandy beach. There are 3 double beds and a set of bunk beds, so sleeps eight persons – one bedroom on ground floor beside bathroom. One of the bedrooms has its own en suite bathroom and there is another family bathroom.
An open plan, kitchen, dining area, and lounge where an open fire allows you to burn turf to give you a truly Irish smell, is a nice feature. There is gas heating with instant hot water, a 5 ring gas hob, an a multi functional microwave oven, or you may prefer to have a BBQ.
Three minutes from the front door you reach the 2 mile long beach, or ten minutes takes you down Batts walk into the village for a pint of Guinness in one of the three pubs or a meal in Belles kitchen. There are boats at the harbour to take you deep sea fishing from the village or the 9 hole golf course at Otway is only 10 minutes away. A 20 min drive takes you to Portsalon Golf Club.
